This place was cool. I can see where the hype comes from. Service was outstanding and the staff was super friendly. There is not a lot of space to sit inside (it was cold the day I visited) but we made do. The ice cream was good but a bit overpriced. I got the Cookie Monster bowl and it was $12. My friend got the cookie monster shake and it was $17 (but you get to keep the glass mason jar). However, I will say, two people can share the bowl. It’s very rich. I think they put a little too much blue dye in the ice cream but it was good overall. I think this is a fun date night spot if you plan on sharing! The staff and presentation make it worth it. But I will say, for the average person it’s a bit pricey!!
The staff was nice and it had a cool atmosphere and outdoor seating area. As an avid ice cream lover, I was super excited to try out the crazy monster shakes and they did not disappoint. I went here with my husband for my birthday and will definitely be back. A little on the pricey side so probably more so for special occasions than a regular ice cream stop.
I got the birthday cake milkshake and it was really good! I gave it a 8/10. But the service was trash. Walked in didn’t get a hello how you doing , welcome or nothing… the employees were dry and stale . Not even a smile. Did not
Make you feel welcomed at all. I understand we all have our days or just tired and over worked but please don’t make your customers feel weird. I wouldn’t go back just because of that. The milkshake was $16 way too overpriced.
This is a fun spot! The “freak shakes” are some of the best, we loved the experience and came back again with friends! The edible cookie dough on a stick is cool, the peanut butter one is our favorite. It’s pricey but you can always just get ice cream in a cup and enjoy! You get to keep the jar if you do a shake so it’s a cool souvenir!
There a lot going with their treats! I got the middle size bowl both times and felt that more ice cream would've been nice. The extra things (cookie, brownie, cinnamon bun, cheesecake-which was frozen and couldn't be eaten at the time) can take away from it being ice cream. Again, probably because I got a bowl instead of the pint glass. I took my son the 2nd time I went. He also enjoyed it. Both times, I could finish my treat and took the leftovers home. They were just as good the next day. The Yard is expensive but you are paying for the experience, as well, and they do a great job with their creations. Next time I go, I think I'll keep it simple and try a milkshake. And I love that they have a washing station!
It was my first time visiting, and I wish I would've remembered the young lady's name, that provided great service. She help me with ALL my questions, and allowed me to sample (to help me decide). I ended getting the Orange Crushed. It was A+!!!
Really good place! There was only one girl working, but she was so nice and efficient. The Cookie Monster milkshake itself was decent, but the edible cookie dough on top was delicious!
Not really impressed, to be honest. Most of the ice cream was Blue Bell, which is ok but not that great. A lot of the ice cream during our visit did not look fresh and was really unappealing. In fact, it would take a cover-up of whipped cream and ridiculous toppings to make it presentable. When put into a Mason jar, it has appeal. Tables and seating areas seemed tired. I wouldn't go back.
