Best KPortal Reviews

The Wonston Arms holds a great story, as a traditional pub that was nearly lost forever. It's not to be missed if you're looking for a true locals' pub with a friendly atmosphere that wraps you up and gives you a warm feeling as you quaff one of their fine ales, or a glass of something else perhaps - there's lots to choose from. I've been popping in here on odd occasions for years, and it's got better and better.
Run by a landlady and landlord that know how to run a pub well, the staff are all friendly, happy and always up for a chat. The yard (or the "beach" as it's called), complete with outside shack bar, is a lovely area to sit, relax and enjoy the sun going down.
Although they don't cook food, if you pick your time there are various mobile cuisines that become available on certain days. Do check first when they are open, and when food is available, as you wouldn't want to miss out.
If you like people, beer and fun, then this is for you. You won't be disappointed.
A good fun pub with links 8n the past to the kray brothers very friendly locals willing to listen to a elderly gent wittle on about his past in submarines at sea . Abc playng on the tv Gold channel enjoyed my glass of merlo A j B o wn
Stopped here on a bike ride for a pint and packet of crisps, ended up having delicious vegan pies as advised by Daisy which came with cheese and pickles and a few more pints than expected ☺️ I'd thoroughly recommend and look forward to coming back in the summer????
Friendly lively atmosphere, lots of interaction and jovial banter. Amazing, changing selection of Real Ales served by friendly enthusiastic staff (although I am more of a malty drinker). Really a 'Wet Pub', there are pop-up foods and an order in curry night. At the helm are Matt & Lisa keeping the whole thing 'The Best Little Pub in Hampshire'.
PS. I personally never have a problem parking either...
????????✌️
Excellent says it all really food was plain and simply cheese and biscuits on the bar help yourself
The pub was a bit crowded, which means people must like it, and come back.
The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcomed.
What an amazing pub with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, excellent real ales along with a warm welcome and great service. Friendly and chatty locals.
Pop up food available (see website) which is also yummy.
What more do you want well done to Mat & Lisa and the Wonston team.
