The steak came out okay, but the wait was rather long. The menu listed “mixed veggies” but it was just diced zucchini and squash. Other than that, the black berry old fashion was delightful!
Excellent food and stellar service! The filet was delicious and the lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had. Plenty of food with generous portions and a really laid back atmosphere. It’s pricey, but worth it. Save room for dessert.
Had some clients in last week and went to Wonder Bar for dinner. Adriana was our server and she was excellent as usual. Khalil and staff are are very professional. Food was excellent. We requested Bar area seating and that was granted. Just an overall great dining experience.
My husband and I eat here every special occasion. We have done this for the last three years. The service is honestly hit or miss but the food is spectacular. Sadly when we ate here on New Year’s Eve, myself and others were served glasses of free champagne with spiders in them. When I reported this to our waiter he acted like he barely cared. My champagne was replaced and that was it. We barely saw our waiter after that and had the worst service I’ve ever had for a $160 bill.

I’m truly unsure what is going on at the Wonderbar. It used to be the most prestigious place to go in town. The food is unremarkable. There are now cheaper, better places to get food in town. Other places have superior steaks, sides, etc. The Wonderbar used to have food I looked forward to. The service was so slow for dishes that should not have taken nearly as long as they did. We waited almost two hours for our meal with no appetizers. The server did not apologize when the food arrived or refill drinks until asked. The waitstaff was obviously annoyed with how subpar the kitchen has become leading to a tense atmosphere. I used to love the Wonderbar but it is truly not worth the money or time at this point.
Steakhouse worth the price! They know how to perfectly cook steak. The filet mignon is tender, juicy, and has excellent flavor. The scallop potatoes have the delicious homemade taste. The baked potato was the perfect amount of a soft inside with baked outer skin. They had a eye catching desert tray. We decided on the chocolate cake. It was very chocolatey good. The icing was on the sweet side and the cake part on the dry side. But, we prefer an extremely moist cake that is more rich than sweet. So to us it was good. The waitress was delightfully cheery and well educated on the menu/ dishes. We very much enjoyed our meal and atmosphere.
