Honestly, this was abysmal. The food was genuinely disgusting, there was barely any flavour to anything at all and if it did have flavour it was just spice, so spicy it didn’t taste of anything. We ordered a cheese burger and to say it was disappointing is an understatement, stale, flavourless and boring. The chips were “chippy” chips.. if I’d have wanted a chippy I’d have gone next door…
The customer service was on a whole other level though, the 3 people working didn’t even smile once, there was no personality and it felt like they just couldn’t be bothered to be there. You couldn’t pay me to come back to this place
Would not recommend to anyone. In fact it was so bad I’ve done exactly the opposite for the last week and told them to avoid.
Received very dry stringy chicken that was clearly cooked several hours prior. You needed to have a drink in your mouth with the chicken it was so dry, otherwise it was difficult to swallow. Gave up in the end and binned the chicken.
The chicken warmer in the middle of the shop was absolutely FULL of cooked chicken. Genuinely FULL - all the pieces pressed up against the glass because they couldn’t fit any more in. (You know the ones, the cooks in the kitchen of KFC put cooked chicken in one side and the servers open the glass to get it out at the other.) Clearly what was happening was that the chefs were cooking way way WAY too much chicken for the demand they had. Think how long it takes for the fresh chicken the chefs put in at the back to reach the front as the till staff take it out.
I have removed the part about the chicken being cooked several hours prior as I have no proof of this. However if it is the case that you bin chicken after 40 minutes, how did I receive chicken that was dry, stringy and the white chicken had gone a brown tinge due to being exposed to heat and air for so long. No pressure cooked moist chicken should be dry in 40 minutes. Even if you put it in an oven on high, sure it would be black but it would still be moist inside.
Chips were undercooked chip shop chips. They were absolutely edible, but very pale and tasteless. I don’t see what the season has to do with the colouration. At every chippy I go to the chips are browned year round, because you just cook them more? We ordered 3 portions, some with chicken, and some as loaded fries. All came out the same. The chips also contained lots of thin runts/ends/scraps of the chips which if you ask me customers shouldn’t get. This also doesn’t happen at a chippy, like codfathers. I didn’t mention that the loaded fries (pictured) also contained no jalapeños or spring onions which are advertised on the menus.
All in all, we left feeling very confused as to why people rave about this place, as they couldn’t have gotten the food more wrong if they tried. Ended up binning over half of it and settled for a micro meal from Lidl.
Disinterested serving staff that simply did their job, but it’s par for the course with a takeaway.

Had an incident last week and this week I’ve been in Natalia couldn’t have been more apologetic to what had happened and rectified it, customer service was spot on she’s so polite and nothing was too much for her. The food was amazing she put in some extras from their new specials which was enjoyed. The kids always get a milkshake they don’t have many more to try she also told us they can mix the milkshakes which the kids can’t wait to try next time. If you haven’t tried the loaded fries from here that’s a must, I’ve got most of my family members hooked on these they are the best loaded fries in Barnsley. It’s much better than kfc and a lot cheaper. Thank you so much.
Wings were fresh and very crisp, not much flavour to the wings as the coating is pretty bland but they do sauces to coat them in to add flavour, shame they don't do a hot wing though. Prices for wings and chicken is OK, burgers are a little expensive.
They recently had a YouTube reviewer do a review and I would like to know what sticky wings he ordered as the ones iv ordered never look like what he got.
The biggest downside is the wait times, iv stopped going to Wingmans because the last few times the que has been so big and slow I ended up going to the chips shop next door or kfc down the road.
Loaded chips are amazing ordered collection was waiting 15 minutes after collection time however the shop was really busy and staff were working their socks off.
We ordered from here on Uber eats, the food took 1hour and 45 minutes to arrive. I rang the restaurant to ask where our order was and she said that it was being sent out. At the same time our driver text us saying our food was still being cooked. I rang back 15 minutes later and asked again where is was and if it was still being cooked. She said there was still a few bits to finish off and it would be 5 minutes. Clearly not If it’s still being cooked. Once the food finally arrived we was missing a burger. We rang again and said that we was missing and item and she said “ well I sent a bottle of coke for inconvenience”. That doesn’t fix the issue as there was still someone without their food. The burger then arrived 15mins later with no salad and uncooked. We didn’t ring back after this issue as we were already fed up and it was 9:30. Definitely would not order again.
Absolutely love this place and the owner is an absolute diamond. Always takes time to chat and lets me taste his new milkshake flavours ????
The quality of the chicken is the best. His chips are proper potato that are cut fresh everyday as he owns the fish & chip shop next door!
Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!
If you want to eat today you need to worder 1 day before because the staff is very lazy, it is not possible to wheit my food 2 hours, and when you call at the restaurant tell you the driver don't arrive . If you check the delivery app, we can see where is the driver in real time just see you know ???? ????
