The hotel has the perfect location for all the hot-spots! Very clean room lovely feel and atmosphere to the entire hotel. The garden is beautiful. The honestly bar is a fantastic touch and we enjoyed a few drinks in the garden! Comfortable bed, spacious room, lovely shower. Breakfast was very nice and staff were more than helpful and very kind. We have really enjoyed our stay and most certainly will return! Thank you very much.
We stayed here for four nights for our wedding anniversary in the Lakes. ||The room was spotless, beautiful classic bathroom, spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed. ||Breakfast fresh every morning and a lovely pretty cottage garden. ||Anthony and Vivian were so welcoming and pleasant. ||We will definitely be back in the sunshine for another stay.
We received a lovely warm welcome, our room (no. 6) was large and spotlessly clean, the bathroom has a large bath and again it was spotless. Bed was lovely and comfy. The breakfast was superb and the lady who served it was very friendly and attentive. Couldn’t fault the hotel and the value for money.
Lovely stunning adult only guest house run by Anthony and Vivian we was in room 1 as my partner is disabled and in a wheelchair and what a lovely delight room the wet room is spot on and decorated to a high standard we choosen the king size bed which was roomy and comfortable, it as a mini fridge which as milk orange juice and water inside which was lovely also tea coffee biscuits etc. breakfast was delicious you could choose from full breakfast to eggs salmon toast cereals tea coffee juices. Stunning place to stay we would choose again if we was to visit fully enjoy our few nights.
we booked the room at fairly short notice having decided to have a short break before i went in for a new hip in our home town. Our hosts were very friendly and anxious to make our stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. The hotel was spotlessly clean despite difficulties in getting staff which seems to be the same all over the lakes in shops and hotels etc. It was good to have plenty of room in the grounds to park our car. Had I been more mobile it would have been an easy walk into windermere village and also perfectly feasible to walk to bowness. Would recommend to anyone wanting somewhere traditional and in a good location. Thank you . V and I
We had the most pleasant stay, the hospitality from the moment we stepped in was exemplary! The rooms were regal yet had modern features particularly the bathroom. We would recommend this to any couples looking for a quiet stay!
Really enjoyed our stay here. The owners & staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with a very comfy bed. The breakfasts are delicious using good quality ingredients. The Willowsmere is located in a great position for walking or driving to large array of places of interest. We would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

We had a delightful 3 nights here. Very friendly, like a home from home. The room was comfortable with good amenities and quiet too. Breakfast, although not included was worth the extra payment. Very tasty and locally sourced ingredients. We enjoyed use of the honesty bar in the guest lounge, which represented good value for money.
All the staff were superb, cheery and interested in the guests.
We will return and highly recommend.
