Don't be fooled by the appearance. For over 40 years the Willow has served fine Chinese cuisine.
What people don't know is that the Willow is a secret portal to China. A bit like Mr Ben.
So, this is a Chinese take-away that has been running since I was a little girl.
The man that runs the place is polite, and even though from the outside, the place looks run down, the food he creates is tasty and reasonably priced. Hence the 4 star.
If you're looking for some nice scran, pop in.
He doesn't open on Tuesdays, I've made that mistake before, but definitely worth a visit.
The sauces don't have the heavily coloured look to them, but the taste is there.
If you go inside you can see mould on the walls if that is in where you order then image the place they cook no thanks
Food is ok, inside needs decorating, outside looks terrible, but decent grub at a ok price.
Exellent wee place..been going here for over 40years...doesnt look much from the outside..but very good food and well worth the money...wouldnt go back to the cotton house...give it a go...genuine authentic chinese cuisine x
Our local Chinese takeaway. Good food prepared quickly and delicious. Generous portions and good service. Don't be fooled by the drab shop front....it's the food that counts. Prices are very competitive too!
Had chicken maryland with a portion of curry sauce excellent and plenty of it.
