We unfortunately went on a Sunday and guess it was not the regular staff. The waitress did start off well knowing the beer list and giving recommendations, it all fell apart when the 3 of us ordered.
On the first round 2 of the 3 orders were completely different entrees. One was corrected right away but my sandwich never came and my friends finished their meals while I was still waiting (both friends fed me ‘under the table.’)
When the meals arrived, everything looked good so I rated it with 4 stars. The service dropped to 3 since the waitress said she could not do anything for my trouble. I asked if I could take the sandwich with me but she said ‘rule was no pay, no food.’
Indeed, the waitress pretty much stopped coming by the table so I dropped that to 2 Stars. Lastly, the atmosphere was fairly standard but the last straw was a large plain white sign over the entrance which reads ‘White Horse after 6pm.’ I asked 2 people working there and the answer was we think it was there when the owners bought the place! So thats for your atmosphere.
Food was good, service was horrible. My server apparently misheard what I said in terms of no mushrooms and had a crazy amount of attitude for no reason. Provided virtually no tip for the service after the fact. I have no idea how they have this rating. People in Oregon are too nice and loyal or this reviews are paid for. Servers picking their nose and serving food? Classy place
Traveling through, food was great. Dannalee was super nice along w/ everyone else there. Skinny margarita was a hitter and her teriyaki bowl recommendation was delicious. Thank you great service.
Another update. Here we are almost closing. Wanted to have a quick beer for my wife's birthday. The people here ate so nice and friendly even so close to closing.

*I want to update my review. If anything, the Hare has improved. Great music on the weekends. Games and Trivia during the week. The servers and Bartenders do an AMAZING job no matter how busy. They work hard and do it with smiles. Sitting here tonight listening to and enjoying CJ Mickens. I can't say enough good about the Wild Hare! Great food, great service, great entertainment. 10/5 stars.

My wife and I recently started coming here for trivia night. We like it so much that we go for lunch and dinner pretty often. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is really good!
The Hary Mary was delicious and I had two. I wasn't expecting gravy on the chicken and waffle but I still ate it all. ????
Great bar. Service was a little spotty as it seemed out waitress was new. Food was good, pours were good also. Would return to try some other items off the menu.
A very warm, inviting environment. Enjoy the calm atmosphere of the restaurant, or enjoy happy hour in the bar. Food is great, staff is friendly and attentive, fun live music three nights a week too! Would definitely recommend.
Wild hare is one of my favorite spots for a semi casual meal in Oregon City. Good food, friendly service, and plenty of seating. The bar area has a bunch of TVs always showing sports. Lottery machines are available as well. My favorite dish is the ahi tuna salad, but the burgers and sandwiches are definitely good as well. It’s also located near a few other bars of you’re lookiig for a night of bar hopping.
