Amazing food great friendly staff very quick service ,just some small niggles no steak knifes offered for my girlfriends steak meal apart from that a great night really recommended
Lovely little Bistro, very well set out for the current situation.
Nice friendly staff, food delicious and very nicely laid out on the plate, their hot chocolate is extremely delicious ???? think it might be a secret recipe.
Lovely Sunday dinner with the in-laws, carvery was delicious and portions generous. Nothing too much trouble for one of our party who is gluten-free, the waiting staff were brilliant and put up with the inevitable questions from the kids about when the food would be ready :) We'd booked for noon and had the place to ourselves, I suspect because of the football the previous evening and people staying in after celebrating!Desserts were delicious too, the 10-yr-old was so impressed with his cheesecake he asked who'd made it and thanked the chef. The only quibble from the in-laws was that with only us in the room the music was a bit loud, but no complaints with the food. Will definitely come again!
Atmosphere in here was 10/10 and the 2for1 cocktails is always a good thing. However I got the steak and asked for it medium and it was definitely well done so was disappointed by that. All in all I’d go again and maybe try something else as everything else was next to perfect.
The reviews on here seem to look pretty good and the photos of the food look great so I can only assume that they don't care so much about the just eat orders or something was different tonight, but my food was NOTHING like the pictures on here look. My order took 2 hours to arrive and was inedible. Pasta and pesto tasted very odd and the chicken was slimy, i have added a photo of the garlic ciabatta: no word of a lie, it was a burned piece of bread with 2 slices of packet cheese and a tonne of raw garlic dumped on top. My dessert was also wrong and everything was stone cold by the time it got here. Binned the lot as I'm not waiting another 2 hours for them to sort it out.
Lovely to get out after lock down. This place is still gearing up so a few items were unavailable on the menu. All the food we had was fresh tasty and enjoyed by our whole party. I will be looking forward to revisiting. Lovely team lovely food. Well worth a visit.
We as a couple made a telephone booking for a Thursday evening dinner last week and was told to turn up whenever suited us.
We arrived at 7pm and staff didn’t even acknowledge or approach us for a period. A simple smile and ‘someone will be with you shortly’ is the minimum expectation especially with a new business starting out. There was then confusion whether there was a table for us. We were seated a few moments later and unfortunately it went down hill fast.
They were out of stock of red wine.
50% of main courses were out of stock.
Some Starters also were unavailable.
We opted for a steak each but the waitress had to return saying that dish had also sold out.
We decided to up and leave. We instead walked into the Chinese restaurant across the street where a tasty meal was had.
We went last night with friends for the first time, it certainly won't be the last, we all enjoyed our evening immensely. The food was even better than our expectations, and the atmosphere and service was great. A lovely local bistro at very reasonable prices.
