Fantastic location in downtown Elizabethtown! The interior exudes speakeasy vibes, adding charm to the experience. While the whiskey pours were a tad light, the drinks were still enjoyable. The food was delicious overall, though the sandwich could've used a bit more meat. Nonetheless, the ambiance and flavors make it worth a visit. A gem for those seeking a cozy spot with good eats and drinks!
An absolutely amazing surprise. Traveling by and stopped in on a totally random visit, and I am so glad we did. They were still serving dinner at 930pm. The portions were large and the down home cooking style hit the spot when we needed it the most. It was refreshing to see a made from scratch kitchen that truly had flare and didn't just fry everything. Wide variety of food options on the menu that made me even more impressed with how fast the food came out. They had live music by a musician with the last name Mudd who was actually pretty talented as well. All of this while still keeping the small town feel when we noticed there was a baby in the bar. Kentucky is wild like that but it just adds to the feeling you can't get many other places.
The scotch eggs are amazing.
P.s. I dont support babies in bars. It was just what I saw.

-The main dishes were all delicious. We got the Sloppy Daniel, Reuben and the chicken salad.

This was our first time eating here and we were so impressed. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Our fish came out hot and crispy but moist and flavorful. The homemade chips were the best we've had. The brisket sandwich was juicy and delicious and the fries were homemade and fried just right. The Strawberry Poppeyseed salad was a delight. Would highly recommend this place for lunch with your friends and looking at the cocktail menu, it would be fun for dinner as well!
Really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. Their homemade fries and chips were delicious and we loved their wicked sauce! Our server was very nice and the food came out quickly. They have games you can grab and play while you wait like cards or connect 4. We will definitely go back here the next time we are in Etown.
The place itself is super cute and had a wonderful aesthetic. Our service and wait time was ridiculous though. When we arrived there was 1 table of people there, we stood and waited to be seated. We waited over 5 plus minutes for someone yo even walk into the front to acknowledge us. Then another person came out and door our drink and foodunpleasant. Seemd like every worker wanted to stay in the back hidden instead of with the customers. We got the fried pickles, and the breading was not made for them, it was like chicken tender breading, they were also so thick which made them stay so hot you couldn't eat them without burning your mouth.
My spouse got the knightsburger, and I chicken tenders. All the food was so greasy, under flavored and overcooked. Our stomachs were so upset after this outing, and we just threw the leftovers away. This is not some where I would personally return. Based off the food and service we were very unpleased.
It’s a lovely little place with personality. I prefer dimmer lighting at bars, but it’s more of a preference thing. The dragon balls were great after I added some salt!
I loved the eclectic decor in this restaurant! It was so fitting of an historic building with old frames, windows and doors making up the interior walls. The food was outstanding! I had the crab sandwich which had a hearty amount of delicious crab in a light dressing with tomato on a perfectly soft-on-the-inside and crunchy-on-the-outside bun. The dragon balls are a must try as the fried mashed potatoes in a crunchy coating were an unexpected melt-in-your mouth delight. I chose bread pudding for dessert and it came swimming in a Carmel sauce that was a perfect complement to the warm cinnamon bread. We had 6 people for lunch with two appetizers, an order of homemade chips, 5 sandwiches, homemade chips, 2 desserts, 2 cokes, 2 beers and a mixed drink and our bill was $123 before tip. Well worth the visit.
