We feel very good here every time! Dogs friendly and very tasty food. You need to book a table especially on weekends. Always wonderful coffee and deserts. The fish and chips worth all money! Lovely view and plenty of space to walk around. Recommend for families too.
Excellent Sunday veggie roast; the beef was OK; the cauliflower was barely solid any more. Excellent service from the food staff (particularly Roberto) but the chap behind the bar was particularly impolite and unfriendly, loudly commenting to other people whilst looking us straight in the eye that our dog was 'nasty' because it growled, once, after another dog had been actively barking at it in the pub - the other dog's behaviour had drawn no comment from the staff. A shame, as a pleasant meal in a pleasant pub left us with a sour taste in our mouth. We won't come back.
Gorgeous food with top presentation and generous servings (not often both can be said). The staff were very friendly and the Inn itself was welcoming and homely. Definitely more upmarket than your usual pub but pleasantly so.
This has to be the best Sunday Lunch anywhere and only 13 pound!!
The roast beef was beautiful, no fat or sinew and 3 large slices , all vegs were cooked to perfection, the gravy best and yorkshires spot on.
Followed by sticky toffee pudding, washed down with a pint of best beer
Service was very good and friendly,
Spoke to the chef later in the garden , tried to get him to come to Australia , where we live, he and his team would go down a bomb..unfortunately wouldn't come. After being charged top prices for very mediocre meals, specially in Perth, WA, this was real pleasure.
Unfortunately wont be back in UK for another 2 years but will be back for Lunch when we do.
