I did a gig there and it's an absolutely fantastic venue!
The locals there are so friendly and welcoming! Beautiful venue all round!
I love this pub. I'm new to Asbourne and didn't know anybody, I went to the White Swan and was soon warmly accepted by the people there. The bar has a great traditional and contemporary feel and the staff was very friendly. Free music, good ale and good atmosphere.
Went here as had lovely outside tables area
on a super hot day. Had few drinks, however when we enquired on food was told 45 minute wait (only few tables were full) and to try George & Dragon over the way as they were serving food. Very bad attitude from bar staff, we were totally dismissed even though we had spent 1.5 hours there consuming alcohol. Went to George & Dragon and had lovely food. Highly recommend
Small but lovey presented pub! Lovely front garden and a big menu. Had lasagne (home made) and hubby had Fish and chips. Delicious and great value for money. There was a singer on at night but sadly we couldn't stay that long
Called in during week for a sandwich lunch when we were in the area, loved it. Lovely food and great price for what you got compared to other cafes in the town. Nice cuppa as well. Friendly chap who served us, lovely and clean, nice lively atmosphere. Covid-aware, nice clean toilets. Will call again when in area.
Staff seem confused and unable to do basic tasks.
Cold and poor quality breakfast after waiting ages, must have been sat on the side for a while. The food order was wrong but couldnt be changed as they couldnt find the cheff!
To be fair they gave us a refund without us asking or making a fuss.
Took half hour for them to bring a cup of tea which was only half full!
Seemed like nice people working there but why not just get some competent staff.
Not a nice experience, so many better options.
Good ale, sound barman. Would give it 5 stars but they don't do a raffle!
Fantastic pub I try and visit it as much as possible, Pete the owner is a real good lad and always happy to see you and the same goes for his sister Terran and their mum,
Great food great atmosphere. Has a large outside seating area along with lots of TV screens to watch spot on, overall a real great pub highly recommend ????????
