Fantastic friendly pub with some great outdoor entertainment and a fantastic selection of beers, cider and shots.
This is a great pub.
Recently under new management and it shows.
The couple who run it are friendly and we have eaten their a few times now, Including their new burger menu and it was refreshing to see fresh food served this way in a pub.
The Sunday lunch was great too, the pub has a really warm family feel too it with a party atmosphere at the weekends. We have also seen a few singers here. In summary it's what pubs need to be now with a mix of good food, good choice of drinks and entertainment.
So glad this place has been given a new lease of life.
Place as new owners a young family. .the food is very good . places needs support so they can make the lion. a great pub and food good atmosphere is good when they have a events on very popular plenty of parking. Oh Yeh very large selection of draft and bottle to choose from.
Very friendly landlord and landlady, always make you feel welcome and have worked hard to build up a nice community atmosphere. Sunday dinners are excellent and the landlady's homemade cheesecake and pavlova is to die for. Would also definitely recommend the curries on a Thursday evening, excellent authentic punjabi cuisine.

Just ordered drinks when two customers decided to have a very public argument . Bad language and threats to each other. We cancelled our order and hurriedly walked out. A bit rough for our liking and would not consider returning any time soon.

Quiz night on a wednesday always a giggle.
The meal Sunday Lunch was lovely and great value for money although we did have our doubts raised when the barman didn't know what a bitter shandy was.
