Beautiful friendly little pub in a gorgeous village! Great price drinks and an atmosphere where everyone talks to eachother regardless of age or status! Highly recommend. And very grateful to live a short walk away!
The staff here are very friendly and professional and with a very good choice of beer I've enjoyed the pilsner lager and then gone over to a couple of jars of Wrexham's finest.

There’s a real fireplace inside which is perfect to drink a Guinness by on those frosty winter nights.
This is a real old man pub. Don't think it's changed in the last 200 years. Wonderful.
Great staff, great atmosphere and ale at a good price. A warm, welcoming, village pub perfect for a quiet after work pint or a bustling atmosphere to watch the rugby or football on their large TV's.

Nice pub, with lots of outside space..which is wonderful particularly during the hot weather. Nice, local atmosphere...but it is a drinking pub only. No food...whichskes it enjoyable as people come here for a quite drink or two
There is a very good Chinese take away in the neiboughhood.....the village itself...Holt is beautiful ..and people take a great pride in the village flowerdisplay show. Holt has got lovely walks along the river Dee...and it is a must to stop here...for a drink or two after a nice evening or afternoon walk.
Pleasant, dog-friendly local pub with very good prices. I wouldn't pay much attention to any reviews here complaining about the food as this pub only sells crisps, nuts etc. There are several White Lions within a few miles of here!
