Our first time there, we were the only ones waiting for a table and were told it would be a 20min wait as they were busy tonight. There were two tables inside that were empty after 10 minutes of us being there and we waited a total of 30 minutes and were seated outside without asking our preference. After another 15 minutes waiting for our server we had to sit through several people smoking on the deck and one was smoking marijuana, once our server arrived we asked if we could sit inside due to this and she seated us at one of the tables that sat vacant while we were waiting to be seated. Once we ordered, our food came out timely, however it did take quite a bit of time for our server to come by to check on us and refill drinks.
The 2 stars for service was more due to the lack of attentiveness by the hostes than our server and the food was good but nothing special.
I would like to say that we would give it another try, but unless some improvements to the greeting and service is made, I dont think we will.
Great view of the lake. It is an awesome place to have a drink with beautiful surroundings. To think that this is only an hour away from Windsor.
If you are coming for a lake side bar then this can be a fun place to be especially in the summer. But other than that beware, the food is awful. I have been coming here for over 35 years since I was an infant with my parents. Long ago when Mario owned the place you really couldn’t beat the delicious pizza, fish, and Greek salads. Since he passed and the new owners have taken over, the food has been consistently not good. Last night was my last visit sadly. I was served cod that was so spoiled it reeked and I had to spit it out. The salad greens were not fresh, which we have experienced before. And, my son threw up his burger, so that must’ve been spoiled too. We were all served gross food and spent almost $100 for 2 adults and 3 children. Stay far away and save your money is my recommendation.
We were there today on 10/03/22. We loved it the food was excellent. The service was excellent our server name was Taylor she has a wonderful personality. The ambiance the view of the lake is amazing. I highly recommend this place and highly recommend the Pastrami sandwich????
Location location location!! I mean really, on the lake , come in and dock your boat or drive up and sit on the deck overlooking the beautiful White Lake. Service was great, bartending is excellent. Food is decent and a good variety.good night life with live music sometimes as well. Great views and nothing but fun.
Stopped in mid-afternoon with a group of four. Had drinks and appetizers, good happy hour, nice waitress. Relaxed atmosphere, lake community style bar. Most parking is across the street, only a few spaces right up near the building.
The food is like bar food, nothing special. If you’re going to get something tho get the fish and chips, those are really good, nice thick beer batter. The service isn’t great tho. But if you’re looking for a bar with a a good crowd this is the place. It’s like a party in the summer with live music and volleyball and boats pulling up. And in the winter a bunch of people go there to watch the lions games.
Food was delicious, view was fantastic, and the waitress was really sweet. I recommend the pizza bites. My only complaint was with the bathrooms. The stalls were difficult to maneuver. I’m a 5’ 3” size 12, but I’m not sure it makes a difference as the stall door swings to the edge of the toilet seat. Doable, and well kept, but tiny. Other than that, I highly recommend! Stunning lake view!
