I attend a quiz night on the 21st March. What a lovely evening it was, and it was very busy. Looking forward to the next one. Also hear the food is really good.
Lovely hosts! We came to celebrate a birthday with a few drinks, game of pool and brilliant food. The chef made us a hot meze platter to share - even though they had run out of something that was meant to go on it, he went out of his way to make us a unique one with complementary bread. The food was amazing, would definitely recommend the sucuk (spicy Turkish sausage)
Just stopped in for some food on the off chance. Honestly it was so fresh and delicious. Couldn't recommend it more ????
Food was pretty good but the service was absolutely shocking. Rude, miserable staff will mean we won’t go back or recommend the pub to anyone, in fact we will actively steer people away. One staff member swore at my friend when she highlighted her drink had been mixed incorrectly. Couple that with staff who grunted at you when you asked for another drink or a menu, add not being able to use the toilet at 10.15pm because it had “been cleaned for the night” being offered a wine listed when only one bottle was available all are for a pretty sorry experience I would suggest no one repeats ! Such a shame because the food was good but the service ruined the experience.
Got takeaway fish and chip from here the other day. Very good. Definitely get food from here again.
Yeliz Turkish Restaurant at the White Hart has only opened in April 2023 and is fantastic. The website on Google Maps is out of date
We went for a pint and possibly more, but were told we couldn't sit outside on a nice sunny afternoon, what's the point of a beer garden if u cant sit out. The staff said they couldnt manage people outside. There was two of them and 2 people in the pub. We were happy to fetch our drinks from the bar and return our glasses. So skipped the meal and extra drink to sit in our own garden! Disappointing
Good experience. Worth a visit. Staff 5 star. Food is well above average and a good price. Friendly pub. Large portions. Amazing Turkish food. Does fish and chips if not adventurous. Better than most places around here.
