A great pub should look after these types of pubs as they are a gem. The landlady Sheila was very welcoming and the locals as well. The pub has darts and pool so a sports persons dream..
What I would call an old fashioned proper pub, and in these days of 'theme' pubs this place is a breath of fresh air.
A very nice, clean village pub. Although I was in at a quiet time, soon after opening it is good to see a proper pub thriving without turning into a gastro pub or kids play centre.

Friendly staff and locals. Good old fashioned drinking pub. No food just bar nibbles and pool n darts. Excellent
Not much atmosphere and you can't sit at a table on the grass anymore, which on a beautiful sunny day was a shame. (There were outside tables though). Reasonable prices bit seem a "croneyish". Outsiders stand out.
