I've been wanting to try this place for years and finally decided to treat myself to fried clams. I ordered a small but was shocked to find only 6 clams in the bag when I got to my car. I paid $21.95 for these. I have always gotten small orders of clams from other places and they are usually mounded up and spilling over the edge. That was my first and last time going to this place. It took me a couple minutes to eat them and I'm still starving and now have to go buy another dinner. The price on their menu on the website is not up to date either.
The fish sandwich was delicious and huge. The onion rings were fresh and homemade. My husband also liked his burger. I wish we would have eaten outside along the river. Cute place.
Tasty food at a fair price! Menu was pretty large, and they serve a ton of flavours of Giffords ice cream. My fries were hot and crispy, and my burger was cooked exactly how I ordered it. It was our first time here, and the ordering was a little confusing, but nothing too difficult. Mainly just that it was hard to tell where the line was for ordering vs who was waiting for food. It was a busy night though so it might've been a little chaotic from that.
A fun place for lunch just a short ride from downtown area. Many seating options along the river or inside. Easy to order food and or ice cream (separate windows). Was really glad we chose this place to try!
Cash only, ATM on site! Great atmosphere sitting outside, gives you that 50's diner vibe. Just the basics on our first visit, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwich, fries, onion rings and whole bellie clams.
Reasonably priced, fast service, seemed clean while waiting inside for our food, staff was friendly, music created more of that 50's atmosphere.
Icecream seemed to be a popular order while we waited.
Love the outdoor seating, wide open, fun. The fried clams were quite good, not greasy. The hamburger and fish burger were average.
Great food, good portions, sometimes you have a wait but only because they are always very busy, friendly staff, nice family atmosphere.
Ben and Jerry’s is a brand I grew up with as a kid and to now learn about the history was incredible! I greatly enjoyed learning about the different types of ice cream made in the factory. The ice cream selection is extensive but I highly recommend taking the time to read the menu and see what’s new.
