So I was down visiting family and one of them suggested the whistle stop. When we walked in we were greeted by two bartenders that quickly made some of the best Long Island ice tea’s. They quickly took our food order of a lrg supreme pizza no Italian sausage and an order of wings garlic parm. We had a couple shots while we waited we chatted with the bars patrons who suggested that the had the best pizza which was not a lie. We still had to send it back because the vegetables were under cooked but they had no complaints with putting it in the oven again. This place also has a liquor store as well as darts and a pool tables. We left after a good hour and took what was left home. I would definitely suggest this place as a good spot to unwind.
Great place, we got there and Matt the bartender was working. Really nice guy, good drinks. We mainly went there for the deep dish Chicago style
Pizza, and that was soooo good! Check it out, btw, don't be scared by it, outside is not the fanciest, inside is bar and billiards. But the vibes and food is great!
The locals place for Pizza! ???? the best pizza on the island. Whether you pick up and bring home or order there you can be sure your pizza will be hot and packed with flavor!
Bartender was great, drinks were cheap, huge place and always crowded. However, they won’t control the jukebox box and some idiot put as priority of an entire album of Drake! It was a nightmare. No where in the entire place could u get away from the pounding nightmare music and everyone was miserable but they wouldn’t bypass it or turn it down. It ruined our night. Ohh food was good too.
Small unpretentious bar with great pizza and nice people. Usually have the regular double pepperoni round but today tried the Chicago. First time I could only eat 2 pieces! Will order again… Hard not to get the pizza, so on Taco Tuesday we tried beef tacos shown - great! My husband then ordered one Tuna Taco to top off his tank and said that was the best taco he ever had. I tried the cheeseburger which was cooked perfect as I requested and was also good.
They also have a dart board, pool tables, and plenty of TVs for sports. Very nice bartenders!
Excellent pizza...if you are questioning this decision...DON'T!! The pizza was absolutely amazing. Bar tender dude was cool also...was talking with him about some whiskey✌????
Had a great time at this neighborhood style bar. Our group of 4 ordered several appetizers and shared some really good food - especially loved the Mac and cheese bites and Buffalo wings. The staff and patrons quite friendly and welcoming. We will be returning ????.
Bartender Matt discriminates against people with disabilities. Especially if you have a service animal. He’ll cuss you out and kick you out for even stepping foot in the door with a legitimate service dog. Then, even after that, when I came in to get clarification on it, I got kicked out for asking him questions. Worst service in the keys. Which says a lot. That said, I hope the new owners do something about it, because aside from that, the pizza is good, and it’s a cool spot. I’ll never go back after the way I’ve been treated there though. Matt is straight trash.
