Whilst it's nice to see a family run pub still open, it did feel more like we were in a family living room than a bar.
A good English pub with a typical village pub atmosphere, the beer is good, especially the Guiness, plenty of choice and served with a smile and great banter. Very much a local clientele but in no way are visitors excluded. We did not eat here but the food looked good, though the choice was quite basic. If locals eat there it must be OK.
Sunday dinner, takeaway today was so amazing, fresh , can’t thank the people concerned enough, you have made my wife happy ????
Amazing value for money on the Sunday lunch. Huge portions, brilliant roast pots and Yorkshires freshly cooked.
Sunday lunch..... you can't beat it. And if you can't get out have it delivered all surrounding villages.
Lived in the village for nearly a year now,just eaten the Sunday carvery and by far the best meal I've had in weedon. Would 100% recommend eating here then anywhere else in the village!! Definitely coming back ,many thanks Lewis Kelly Liam and the pooch George who we had to save a potato for as they are soo good.
Excellent food and amazing value for money considering the price 9.95 for a huge beautifully cooked meal. Super friendly staff and very accommodating. Excellent!
Despite webpage saying food would’ve served today. The place was empty and there was NO food on offer.
We won’t be going there again. Very disappointing.
