About 2 miles drive from Malpas, off the A41, and not an easy find in the dark night of winter. Satnav saved the day. Sunday roast was in the menu, but I settled for salmon with chilli sauce with ?fries? On the whole it was ok.its got a 3 ???? because they cater and are hot on offering gluten free and vegetarian dishes. So that is worth harping about.
Excellent food, good beer, and friendly staff. You really cannot ask for more. Absolutely loved it!
What can I say..... Wow!!! Amazing!!! Tracey is fantastic, really helpful and friendly can't help you enough she is fantastic. Just had my son's christening party there for 50 people, all the staff are great really friendly & helpful. We had hot food, homemade curry, homemade cottage pie, rice, chips, chicken nuggets and a tray of sandwiches. The chef is an amazing cook! The food was out of this world!! Very very highly recommend! Made our day perfect can't Thank them all enough! Amazing!!!
As long as you know what this pub offers you will not be disappointed. Friday is fish and chips or pizza, that is it for food. However it is very good! The service is excellent and the staff in this local village pub are very friendly. It is excellent value for money, more village would benefit from a local like this.

Brilliant pub! Nice food and beers and the biggest and best beer garden I've ever seen. Its huge! The kids and spaniel in our party loved it. Lovely friendly staff too with a beautiful and playful golden cocker spaniel who makes a visit worthwhile on her own!
An amazing pub with fantastic food and caring owners. As a vegan there are very few places for me to eat out, but this catered perfectly for my needs. The chef even came out to discuss which vegan cheese option I would prefer. I will definitely be going again...and again!
Warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Special mention for Ellie who served me. Good wine choices. Decent food menu and they are helpful about catering for dietary preferences/restrictions. Definitely worth a visit.
