From the best fish and chips for a competitive price and amazing size to a fish finger and soggy chips. If you are new owners you will not last long. I for one will not be using you again after many years of satisfaction
Please do not waste your hard earned money on this chippy. It has gone from a first class establishment to an absolute disastrous business model. Apparently there has been a change of ownership, and a change of supplier. Gone are the beautiful tasty and well cooked haddock of a decent size to be replaced by soggy batter and utterly tastless and small fish of indeterminate origin. Even the dog was unimpressed. I predict that most people like myself will vote with their feet, owners please take note before you go out of business, your reputation is hard earned and very easily lost. Mrs Mirams
Called in today on my break from work, must say the fish cake was absolutely beautiful and the chips were cooked to perfection. The curry sauce is a must!! Was so tasty! Will definitely be my regular chippy from now on.????
Heard good feedback about this chipshop thought I would give it a try. Well I am glad I did as I couldn’t fault it. The service was excellent and the fish and chips were mouth watering. Very good!!
For the second time we have bought fish and chips from here and been disappointed. The chips were gritty as well as raw, and the fish was so greasy that it leaked out the box onto our table, making it inedible. We will be choosing elsewhere going forward.

i have just ordered fish and chips, a fish cake, 2 portions of peas and 2 bread rolls! £17.00 in all. The fish was the smallest fish i have ever seen, that was their regular size, the fish cake was 2 pieces of batter with nothing in the middle, looks like it was made this lunch time , yet i bought it at 7.30pm! when i got back home and opened up our meal the 2 cartons of peas were curry sauce!!! I rang them back to ask what they would do, but all i got was a young girl, the one that served me, saying i’m sorry but we have been very busy!! I was the only person in the bloody place!!!
They are using school kids, who don’t listen to serve customers and when it goes wrong they gust say sorry to you! Well i for one will never use this shop again, the quality of there food and service is Zero
I will now be contacting food standards and reporting them, and also the Fish Fryers Association as company’s like this need making accountable.
I did try to speak to the owner but some young kid said he was the manager tonight!
I have given him my mobile number and ask him to get the owner to ring me! bet that does not happen!!!
