The best thing about this place was its location. It has beautiful ocean views and it is right on the beach. We sat outside in a covered seating area and it was nice to hear the waves crashing. The food was just OK. We had both the crab omelette and the shrimp omelette and neither was fantastic. The grits were not good and needed more salt, pepper, butter, and flavor. The coffee was watery as well. The server was kind? however we had to ask for water and for a box. If you’re hungry and you’re right by the beach, you could visit for convenience, but it’s not on the must do list.
This is a convenient place to go to from the beach if you’re lying out and get hungry. I would compare this place to a diner with a great ocean view. This place has the benefits of a nice view but also the loss of having kids running around and seating covered in sand if you’re not in swimwear. The menu is very diner menu. The patty melt tasted good but was put together like a burger at a fast food place. The bread was misaligned with the patty, which isn’t a problem in regular burgers, but it had melted cheese glued to it and essentially ripped the sandwich apart. The coleslaw was probably the least flavorful one I’ve had. I visually saw dressing but it didn’t taste like anything except for the veggies. The side salad was very disappointing with it just being burger toppings thrown on a plate. The drinks were in nice big cups, although wasteful plastic. I just think of it as pool food… mediocre.
I had the catch of the day. It was grouper and came with rice a piece of corn and mixed vegetables. The veggies were cold but the dish overall was surprisingly good. I didn't love the plastic cutlery but it was at least a good quality plastic.
Service was great. Mai Tais were good.
Very nice breakfast. We had the chorizo omelette and the shrimp omelette. Both included potatoes and toast. The shrimp omelette had cocktail sauce served with it which was a delicious and unexpected treat! The coffee was excellent! We will be back to try lunch and dinner too.
Right on the beach! Server was very friendly and the food came out quick. Everything tasted real good too! Only reason I took a star away is because they don't have their own parking so find a spot was a little bit rough. Will be back though!
We were chatting to ladies on the beach (1 local the other a regular!) we asked what the place was like. She replied that they have the best Mai Tai she’s ever had!
The Mai Tai was amazing & the crab medallions were delicious. Will be back to try the fish tacos as they were also highly recommended.
The grouper was good, the sides were not. Tasted like the sides had been cooked all day and tasteless. The drinks were weak. The only positive was the view. I didn’t take pictures of the food because it was not memorable.
Ok so we were so excited to come here. It looks like a cool place. BUT you guys. The food was terrible. Served on paper plates. The food looks and tastes so bland. The crab cakes I’m convinced it’s tuna. They are brown and soggy and they stink so bad. The Santa Fé wrap was terrible the burger was terrible and the salad was… you guessed it TERRIBLE. Our waitress Sofia was so nice. And that’s all I have to say
