Been here a few times and always a great meal. I would recommend one of the double burgers, they are massive
Stopped here for the first time after having driven past many times. Great value selection of bar meals, it's not gourmet dining but the portions are massive with a good mix of traditional Scots dishes and some Mexican favourites. Staff were excellent, chatty and attentive.
Very friendly atmosphere. Cosy and clean inside and the staff made you feel welcome. The food was pretty good too with decent portions. We sat outside and ate our lunch while the kids were in the play area.
Too busy at Balmaha for you?? Then stop here like we did and grab a bite to eat before you hit the shores :)
Birthday treat for a friend.Arrived on Wednesday ,was greeted by Adam lovely chap .Fish and chips, mushy peas were fab.My friend had haggis ,tatties and neeps, followed by sticky toffee puding food was excellent, presentation lovely well done to the chef .would recommend Wayfarers.
Nipped in for a quick pint while we were walking the John Muir Way that passes close by. It was busy because of Mother's day and the food being served looked great. Hopefully be back sometime. Have the Innes and Gunn draught!
Today was slightly disappointing the menu has changed a few of our favourite things are gone no salads on the menu and when our main meals arrived they were cold portion size has decreased also come here regularly but this was the first time I didn't really enjoy it staff are still very friendly and helpful
Good food, friendly staff cosy atmosphere ample parking, live music and interesting locals with plenty of yarns as you would expect in a local pub. My local so please come and visit, you will be most welcome.
Really good food, big portions, friendly staff. Local country pub meals, a good wee find in the country, time to relax.
