Can’t honestly fault this stay. Very welcoming host from the offset, very polite and thorough. From the little touches of chocolate & biscuits on arrival, to the facilities in the room. Very modern looking despite the old character & a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing or planning a visit.

We stayed 2 nights at the 'The Old Store', at the front of The Walnuts House and we loved it! It's very comfortable and really clean. The little 'touches' when we arrived showed the owners cared - flowers, welcome chocolate by the bed and basic supplies in the kitchen. The main room is large and spacious, containing a very comfy bed and sitting/dining area, it overlooks the private front garden. 'The Old Store' is quirky and definitely the place to stay for a relaxed get away. The owners are friendly, very helpful and they show you your park space on-site when you arrive. We're hoping to return soon!
Booked a 3 night weekend stay with my sister, where we stayed in The Cabin. The Cabin was beautifully designed and decorated, cosy enough to feel like a country retreat but elegant enough to feel modern & luxurious. With our own private hot tub as well, you couldn't ask for more. The surrounding areas are lovely and Ely (25mins drive away) makes a nice day out. The Owners could not be nicer or more helpful, there is nothing that is too much trouble and they are lovely and friendly. It really is ghe perfect place to get away from it all. I will definitely be going back again!!
Myself and my partner stayed at the Walnut cottage. It was absolutely fantastic. Hosts were very accommodating and willing to give any information required. The fact that we had the cabin to ourselves and the hot tub. We felt like we were in the middle of no where. So relaxing and tranquil. Just what we needed! Thank you!
We had the most amazing weekend away, actually magical! We stayed in the cabin at the back of the building backing onto a field with complete privacy. ||Only down side is there was nothing within walking distance to do during the evening (other then the hot tub which was fine for us) so take stuff to entertain yourself unless you don’t mind a drive. |||As soon as this deal is back on wowcher we are re-booking!
Fantastic night away. The Owner couldn't of been more helpful and was very friendly. Place was spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and the hot tub was a fantastic addition to it. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others!
Booked a last minute weekend away at The walnuts Country House, and glad we did. We were greeted by Steve who showed us to our cottage which was to a good standard and very well presented with wine in the fridge. It was a great weekend and we made the most of the hot tub and roll top bath :-).||We will definitely be booking again next year.||Thank you Steve
