We had such a lovely lunch. The best bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce I’ve ever had!!

Such a wonderful place to stop. The food was delicious, they treated us wonderfully and even spoiled my daughter with a Scottish treat. We also bought a dessert from there and it was unbelievably good. Felt like a true Scottish experience, would highly recommend!

What a lovely little place this is, ordered the leek and potato soup and Bree, bacon and cranberry toastie.

If I'd known how filling the soup was on its own I would have opted to take away the toastie.

After visiting the wee mining museum downstairs we had a wee walk and went in here . It didn't look much from outside but wow . It was spotless ,clean , bright and lovely. We had a toastie each and they were brilliant good helping and delicious. Very reasonable prices too . It is also dog friendly, the staff are lovely. Will visit again definitely.
