Excellent food. I travel 16 miles to get there and it's worth it. Other takeaways in my area aren't a patch on this place so I make the journey and it's worth it. Real chicken not rubbery processed stuff that others tend to use and the spare ribs are amazing.
We always order from Happy Garden at Castle Bromwich and never had an issue! As they don’t deliver and I’ve had recommendations for this place, that also deliver, I thought I couldn’t go wrong!?!?
We ordered Salt and Chilli chips and couldn’t taste any salt and there was hardly any spice, not to mention the fact the chips seemed like they’d been reheated!
Salt and Chilli Prawns, same apart from tasting like they were reheated!
Egg Fried Rice was nice!
Chicken Curry was watery!
Barbecue Ribs were nice in flavour, but the meat was very very chewy and now my jaw aches!
It’s a shame because I’ve passed this place many times and thought, I’ll try there and had recommendations in the past!
I suppose it’s a case of stick to what you know and Happy Garden is way better! Sorry, but it’s true and this is my first and last!
