They're new, been open only 8 months. Service is good, food was prepared nicely. The menu seemed full with both hot and cold items. I had a salad and a smoothie. The salad was fresh, the chicken was not overcooked and seasoned well. The smoothie was just ok, I felt like I could have made it at home. Prices are modest. The atmosphere is quiet and quaint inside a nice neighborhood..I will probably be back to try some other menu items.
Wanted to try a new breakfast and coffee spot and was incredibly happy with the choice. Menu had a good variety for whatever you're in the mood for. I had the breakfast chicken burrito and the chicken was crispy but still tender, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and it was clear the ingredients used were fresh and great quality. It was delicious and came out quickly. Coffee was fresh and tasted great too.
The owner, Angel, was very accommodating, friendly, and it's clear he deeply cares about providing the best service to his customers. The Village Cafe is officially added to my list of favorite cafes. Can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu.
Great little spot! Had a ham, egg, and cheese everything bagel; home fries; and a coffee. Was pleasantly surprised to find ketchup with no corn syrup and non-GMO. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean, quick, good portions, and good price.
Great place to eat at. Prices are great especially for the quality of the food! The owner is very nice and passionate. The restaurant itself is very clean. 10/10 recommend eating here! I wish they were open on Sunday as it’s our last day visiting we would have definitely stopped again! I wish we had a place like this in PA. We will definitely stop again when we come to visit family again.
Went there yesterday for the first time kept seeing signs and finally went. I had always just went to Duchess. The Village Cafe is my new Breakfast Spot! If you have little ones super easy/safe and fast to get in and out. You can order ahead but we literally waited not even 5 minutes. We got a BEC and GC an 2 bottled juices for $18. I would have spent the same/more at Duchess. The inside is super clean, organized and welcoming. The food was delicious just like a homemade should be. They also had different salads like chicken, pastas and green which I’m going to try next time. This place is definitely bringing Ansonia up a notch!
New small cafe with full kitchen, a lot of options for breakfast and lunch. they make lots of on the go items, I asked to make changes to their arugula salad and they were able to do it with no problem.
Luck struck in finding this place today! Our breakfast sandwiches were perfect size & proportion, even better tasting. We’ll certainly be back when we’re in the area. Thanks, guys!
