Lovely cafe inside and out, friendly and more than helpful staff. Food was fresh and delicious but didn't have to wait ages for it to be cooked which is always nice. Family friendly with an area for kids with different toys. I had my cat and they were more than welcoming although we did not ask to take him inside. Not likely to be in this area again soon but if I find myself here in future, I will defintrey be back!
(Please enjoy the photo of my cat enjoying a small bite of the cappucino cake)
Brought my Dad and his friend here for Fathers Day. We all ordered ham, egg and chips and tea for 3. The waitress was lovely, very chatty and service was very quick. The food was lovely.
When we first arrived we were the only people there, by the time we left, there was at least 20.
Will definitely come again
Our 1st time was OK, served relatively quickly but we were alone in the cafe. The toilet was a portaloo outside in the front yard/garden next to a seating area. Poorly placed, unhygenic and lacked privacy. They even ask people to donate funds to use it for non-customers which is a bit of joke.
The 2nd time took a lot longer, we ordered 1 sandwich and 2 paninis. After a 35 minute wait, we asked for an update on the food order and was told they didn't know. I asked them to find out and they came back from the kitchen saying they haven't started it yet, but they will start doing it now. The 2nd visit was after a refurb project, there were interior toilets, there was a log burner and it was more spacious.
A 4/10 experience due to time waited for a cold sandwich and hot panini.
Small but a friendly welcome. The food and service are superb. I'm looking forward to the new part of the café opening. Definitely be returning very soon.
Absolutely stunning little cafe with wonderfully friendly staff.
We stopped off as our youngest needed a break on a long journey. What a little treasure this place is!
In the winter months you'll find there's limited seating, but don't let that put you off!
There's loads of additional seating outside too, and I can only imagine how wonderful this is in summer months!
Called in on way back from louth, gorgeous coffee and cake, and lady who served me was friendly and welcoming
Great cakes, good portion sizes and lovely homemade chips,
Stopped for breakfast to break up a long journey. Really good breakfasts with real Lincolnshire sausages and generous mugs of tea.
Lovely little place with a nice community feel. Would definitely pop in again when we are up that way.
