Ever since The Vault first opened its doors, I've been a devoted fan of their (Vault) fries and burger - they're an absolute must-try! Plus, their bar boasts a diverse selection of IPAs, and the prices are quite reasonable compared to other spots in town. Not to mention, the beer is always served ice-cold.
Best pace in town to get steak! Let alone the 20 plus beers on tap. Favorite date night spot hands down.
I recently visited the vault with my party, and our experience was unfortunately marred by the rude behavior of the bartender. From the moment we approached the bar, the female bartender’s attitude was dismissive and unprofessional.
She greeted us with a cold demeanor and seemed impatient as we placed our drink orders. Despite our attempts to be polite and clear, she responded curtly and made us feel unwelcome. When we inquired about some of the drink options, her answers were brusque and unhelpful, adding to our discomfort.
As our meal progressed, we encountered issues with our drink orders. When we brought these to her attention, she was not only dismissive but also visibly annoyed. Instead of offering a solution or apology, she blamed us for the misunderstanding and made no effort to correct the mistakes. This level of customer service is unacceptable and significantly detracted from our dining experience.
First visit to The Vault Bar & Grill did not disappoint. Parking was easy! Friendly and fast service. Server was very helpful in listing a vast array of available options for our dinner. My husband had the hot pastrami sandwich while I had the avocado burger. Both were amazing. We also indulged in the grilled zucchini which was perfectly cooked! Wonderful dining experience and highly recommend this location! You’ll be happy you did!
The brisket tacos were delicious. The food was full of flavor and hit the spot. The waitress we had was very friendly and took good care of our table.
Stopped in a second time almost a year later and enjoyed some Vault Fries and the Vault Burger. Still a great experience
Was highly recommended the food. I ordered a Jalapeño burger with garlic fries and was very disappointed. Could not even eat half of it. The hamburger was so greasy. The back bun was saturated in oil that was dripping when I lifted up the hamburger. I squeezed the bun and the oil was seeping out. The garlic fries were decent but only the top fries that were not swimming in oil.
This picture does NO justice. The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had! There’s a spice in the sauce that’s incredible, and I’ve never tasted anything like it. Perfect seasoning on the fries too. The onion strings are a must! $5 for a bucketful! Perfectly breaded and caramel ones, and great ranch. Best restaurant I tried in porterville.
Love this place. Best atmosphere in town. Stuff tends to be pretty spicey, so watch out. But it's all oh so good with lots of yummy beer on tap
