Wandered into Urban Tap not knowing anything about it and was very pleasantly surprised! They have 100+ beers on tap (not an exaggeration). The menu and quality of their food is many levels above average bar fare. We had the Caesar Salad with Ahi Tuna and the Honey Orange Salmon with asparagus and a side salad. Both were excellent - kudos to the chef! Our server, Amber, was kind, friendly, and helpful with explaining menu and beer items. The dining area is very clean, and the decor has a modern urban but relaxed vibe. I would definitely go back!
Street parking only, and very limited near the restaurant.
Ordered the pulled pork sandwhich, and it tasted only of salt. Not just a little salt, like a salt shaker lid fell off, and they didn't remake it.
The strawberry kiwi refresher is not refreshing at all. Little to no, strawberry flavor, very bitter.
The poutine was delicious and was a great sharable.
The shrimp and grits were really done well
Over 100 beers on tap, and happy hour gives you $5 cocktails.
After a nice dinner, my wife and I made our way to the Urban Tap. It was a Saturday around 6 and they did not seem very busy. Large selection of beers on tap (100) and nice selection of food. We only got the large pretzel and it was very good. I didn't really like the seats at the bar because they were uncomfortable and had a strange design. I would come back a maybe try one of their entrees.
Love this place! Always check for the happy hour specials. Tuesdays for the half price veggie burger is the best because there's also trivia! The servers have always been fantastic and they are very accommodating of larger groups.
Needed a place to watch the alcohol, great place to do this. Hit happy hour rates as well. Had a few appetizers and a couple of pints of Guinness and all was well. Jad their dobots for a dessert, ansolute yum on this one.
Service was great, they even changed channel to also for us.
I have gone to quite a few places for pulled pork sandwiches. Today I found the winner right now for the best pulled pork sandwich! You guys killed it. I did see a few other things on your menu id like to try so definitely will be back for more. My friend got Mac and cheese and she said it beats all the other places we've gone to. So what ever you are doing to your dishes, keep it up!!! Id like to add as well your food is affordable and fresh as it can get. I look forward to recommending others your way as it definitely was a blast. The way the building is designed also makes me feel comfortable. There is tons of room, very spacious couldn't hear others conversations which was SO nice!
We rented the back room at Urban Tap for a graduation party for 40 people. The service, food and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. The taco bar, and pork tacos, especially, were a hit with everyone. Roland made planning the event so easy. He and our other server, Jasmine, were on it during the party, making sure everyone was taken care of. Thank you to the Urban Tap staff for a fun evening! H2P
We had a great dinner! They have a massive selection of beer and cider on tap. The food is great pub food and I only got a pic of dessert! The donut holes are amazing.
