Stayed one night at the Twilight Lodge on a ski trip so that I could ski Hunter Mountain the next day. Good basic accommodations, but not much more. The lodge is the second floor of a small building with a Antique Store and the breakfast room. The room I had was a small bedroom which had a shared bathroom in the hall. The room was clean and comfortable with a small flat screen TV with cable. There is no closet and very limited storage so a multi day stay would be challenging. The bathroom was utilitarian and could have been warmer. The only real issue I had was that the heat for the room was either on and very warm or off and too cold. ||||The staff was nice and the breakfast was fine if nothing special, but there was bagels, cereal, OJ and coffee.
I have the honor of helping my partner remove nuisance animals in this stunning community that IS NOT open to the public. Thank goodness, as we want to keep it beautiful ❤️
I stayed at Twilight Lodge in February on a ski trip. It is a quaint old lodge but was just right for my needs and pricing. Greg the Host was great. I was delayed and he had holiday demands which we both worked out perfectly. Great breakfast Too!
DO NOT BOOK!!! We showed up for our reservation and the doors were locked, no one was present to check us in, and multiple phone calls and emails went unanswered. We had to find other accommodations at the last minute, which was a large unforeseen cost. On top of all this, I received an automated email days later that our booking was cancelled and they would be charging us a $75 fee. I don't know what's going on here but it appears they are closed and stealing people's deposits as well as charging cancellation fees for unfulfilled bookings. If this lodging is no longer available, they need to take down the website.
We had a very lovely stay. Greg was very kind and helpful to all our needs, he’s nice to chat with as well. Enjoyed his company and how much service he helped us with. Barbara owns the antique shop next door and it’s a nice walk around the world. Very close to the Main Street in town and not far from Hunter Mtn for us to go snowboarding. Highly recommended.
My wife and I had a wedding in Wyndham and needed a 2 night stay. Twilight Lodge was cozy and convenient to everything. Breakfasts were lovely and the owner was delightful. We had a wonderful time.
The rail trail to Katterskill falls is right across the road. We would stay there again. Great stay for the price!!
This place is OUT OF BUSINESS!!!! We were able to book a room on their website and was charged for it. When we showed up the place was dark and we called the phone number on Google no one answered; then we called a different number on the website, they told us they closed.
Obviously, we will go after a full refund; if you close you should close your website as well. Everything nearby was fully booked at the last minute, it is a massive convenience. This is unacceptable.
Great place to stay near Hunter! I was in the area for the day to go snowboarding and wanted a place to crash nearby that didn't cost too much. The Twilight Lodge was very cozy and exactly what I needed. Breakfast was great, and the owner was extremely kind and we had a nice conversation over breakfast (happy belated birthday by the way)! It snowed 10" overnight and my rental car didn't have a brush. Luckily the owner did and let me borrow it quick. They even made sure I was able to get out of the parking lot!
