We stopped for lunch on the spur of the moment. The pub has been beautifully renovated, we were welcomed straight away by friendly staff, we asked if we could have lunch and were given a table in the new conservatory part.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The food arrived quickly, on very generous portioned plates.
I can recommend the catch of the day and the home cooked ham.
There is plenty of parking, and we will definitely go for lunch again, maybe take the dog next time, as its dog friendly too.

Can't rate it as it said it was closed on Tuesdays on the Google information, we checked web page no info on opening times, so we went elsewhere !Having had a reply from the venue I have given an extra star for their prompt and rather rude reply! We are not privvy to specific details about your business,so where unable to differentiate an old Web page from YOUR new 1.Therefore we can only state the facts!
Called in on spur of moment. Welcomed by lovely staff. Food was absolutely wonderful! All portions were large and none of us were able to clean our plates.
We (company of 4) visited it just for lunch. It is quite spacious and cozy place.
We ordered grilled chicken breast (£12,5); fish and chips (£8.50); Steak burger (£11.25) and everything was perfect.

Big parking and nice garden terrace if it's good weather.
Had the beefburger and side of the largest onion rings I've ever had! Plus partner had Cajun chicken burger, again very tasty. Good pub grub, friendly staff and accept dogs in the bar area ( doggie water bowl available).
Under new management Danni and Jess have done an incredible job with updating the trumpet Inn.

Ordered the Cajun chicken burger and plain chicken burger, both with fries. Friday was 2 burgers for £20 very good value, very good food and excellent service and a warm welcome.
