CAUTION, the shop may say it's open until 9pm, but just tried at 8.20pm to be told the last orders they take are at 8pm.
Please can I advise, if you don't take orders after 8pm. Can you update your signage to reflect this.
Not an ideal outcome to the evening... Just seen the server get in his car and leave at 8.25pm on a Monday.
I don't think I will return with that attitude, towards the customers and community.
Today was my first time eating here, but I will absolutely come back again!! Amazing fish and chips, freshly prepared, served with a smile! :)

£3.10 for a small chips, 15 mins wait time and there not even busy. Need to step up your game if you want your business to survive more than a few more months. Vinegar added before salt, it’s in the name- salt and vinegar.
Not been before but was passing on the way into Eastbourne so thought I'd pick up some fish and chips. Food was all cooked fresh to order so felt a little long winded but food was all good and piping hot still on arrival at home. One of the proportions of chips was the dregs at the bottom which were dry and shriveled hence I can only give them 4 stars. Also the staff were quiet and whispery although pleasant and attentive still could come across better, they along with the cold environment (door wide open) and small space didn't create any atmosphere. All that said if a similar situation arises I'd definitely go again and perhaps mention I don't want the dregs of the chips.
Friendly welcome, we ordered cod and chips plus a kids fish and chips. Very generous portions! Fish was skinless and flaky. Chips were really good too. We will definitely return. Poppy says thank you for the lollipop :)
