I travel around in my campervan and called ahead to ask could I park in their car park overnight. I arrived around lunch time to see a pub full of folks enjoying meals and drinks. A warm welcome from the bar staff as I enjoyed a magnificent pint of Landlord.
After a nice walk with doggo along the scenic nearby canal, we went for a snooze in the van. Around six doggo and I went back to the pub for dinner. I had probably the best steak and ale pie ever, and three pints of lovely real ales. The local lads in the corner were a laugh, the landlord was lovely and friendly. I think there was a music evening about to start before I left, but it was bedtime for me and doggo.
I wish I had a pub like this near me.
If only I could get that pie recipe..

We went in the day with our new born. The food was excellent, I had a home cooked pie and home cooked chips they were lush.
The staff were very friendly I marked them as a 5 as they were on hand for us when needed.

Difficult to say much, just went there for a wake. Good service from staff, not much to say on food as only small buffet meal, but ok and well presented. Pub looks ok and possibly would return
