I cannot say enough good things about Amanda and her business! My sister and I have been to many hairstylists over the years, but Amanda has quickly become our go-to stylist for her amazing work (and her super friendly personality!) – we even travel from out of town to see her! My sister is very particular about her (very long) hair so having a stylist she trusts is a huge compliment – Amanda always gets the color the exact shade she wants and her hair looks gorgeous after every visit! As for myself, I always go in for layers and highlights. Amanda makes the highlights blend so seamlessly with my natural color, and she’s the only stylist I’ve had that has made my layers look exactly how I want them, which considering I have very thick hair, is not an easy feat! On top of all of her skills as a stylist, Amanda is incredibly sweet and we love our conversations with her during our visits. We cannot recommend Amanda enough!
Amanda listens carefully to what you want and then exceeds your expectations giving a great hair cut and highlight. She has such a pleasant personality that it’s always a fun experience!
I’m a long hair gal and I wouldn’t let a professional come near my hair with scissors for YEARS because of experiences with pushy hairdressers who wanted to cut off more than I was comfortable with. Extra long hair has always felt like “me” and cutting it too short made me sad. Eventually I wanted a professional to put purple in my hair and I went to Amanda nervously, hoping for a good experience. Amanda surpassed my expectations! I’ve been back to her three times and every time she is thoughtful, listens carefully to what YOU want, and uses her professional experience to achieve your vision. She is genuinely a pleasure to spend a few hours with, very gentle with your hair, and has gotten great results every time. I love my purple streaks (way better than what I could do with a box from Walgreens), and she makes my hair look great whether she’s trimming an inch or doing a full haircut. If you want a stylist you can trust, go with her!
Amanda always listens to what I want, and is willing to give her professional opinion on what will work best for me, my hair, and my lifestyle. I have issues with strong scented products, so Amanda has done research and helped me find low/no scent products that will work well for my hair. I very much appreciate the the individualized help!
I lost a bet with a friend (long story) and as a result had to get my color dyed silver for an upcoming trip. This was my first ever experience so of course I was a bit apprehensive and nervous. I came to Amanda at the recommendation of my wife who’s been going to her for the past few years now. Amanda did a fantastic job! She was attentive, patient and clearly communicated what we were doing every step of the way. We tried several stages and eventually ended up at the color we wanted. I would absolutely recommend her without hesitation!
