Lovely cosy pub in Ellon Has a big back room like a big comfy living room,where a regular folk club meeting takes place. Its open mic, supposedly anyone welcome.

It's good friendly pub with a good selection of real ales. Beer garden and shows sports. Great atmosphere .
This is a grand pub. Place was absolutely buzzing when we were there - Roadhouse were playing a selection of rock standards to the delight of all.
Good selection of beers, good atmosphere, seems to be the more mature crowd. We fitted right in.
Excellent bar, barstaff, and atmosphere. Great selection of alcohol, beer, ale, and now cocktail choice.
Fast serving time, great attitude all round from everyone.

A true local pub. We do a gig here every Christmas Beer and Carols. Great craick with the regulars and the owner

It is a pub, yes. It does that much well in that it serves a variety of beverages in exchange for currency. Beyond that it's pretty naff. The pickings in Ellon are really rather slim which is why this has such a good rating however compared to any pub of style and substance this place is pretty dire. The layout is bizarre and the decor is lacklustre but to be honest, other than BrewDog's Dog Tap there is nowhere worth going to here.
