Loved the fact that the Thunderton had been reopened for a few months prior to our weekend in Elgin and it was as good as I remembered from back in the day ,wonderful old building , plenty of space , lots of choice behind the bar and free live music on the Friday night we were there , great place to come for a cold drink
Brilliant local pub with fun music Saturday nights. Bar staff AMAZINGLY FAST and friendly. No food served but prices of the drinks worth it. A must try when in town!

It's great that this pub has reopened. On the Saturday we visited there was live music to enjoy within the confines of a truly historic building. A fantastic evening had by all

Cracking venue, oldest building in Elgin. Current owners have resurrected it and done a cracking job! Good choice of drinks.
