The place is very small but cute. When we first got there, all 4 staff looked at us but no one could greet us or even smile. The food was very good!
Stopped on the way home from Glacial Lakes State Park. Very good service and food, the atmosphere of The Tavern was also fun and lighthearted, everyone seemed happy to be here.
I haven't tried the food yet, but I'm sure I will soon! This place is a gem and the owners are the greatest hosts in Starbuck!
Newer place. Attentive staff. No beer on tap, reasonable price, fabulous chicken wings, average burgers. Clean bathrooms.
It would be a much better bar if they got rid of the bartender that moves slower than a glacier.
Great place for a family atmosphere and just a block away from the great Minnewaska Lake and the hotel (Lakes Area Inn). Great food, decor is very warm and awesome service! If your in the area come check it out!
Ok , a lot of the mainstream and franchises that have the national exposure,a menu for the refreshments and maybe a handful of their main staples with regards to full meal options..but Mark & Wendy have (in my opinion) put together not only a full bar , rail as well as top shelf selection that will satisfy any kind of experienced palette, to a social preference . Now this is important for a person to understand that the Tavern takes it's spirits, wine liquor,etc..very serious.. and are above reproach, when offering an incredibly manicured kitchen menu ..I can't say I have sampled each item on menu..I haven't gotten by my big roast beef swiss with handmade Au jus..mouth is watering rn..and Pizzas that are perfect for last call munchies for take out!!! This is a different blend on the "pub or tavern'' , were most common too, swing by and prove me wrong, cuz my town is growing and adapted for any kind of pandemic, winter storms or whatever else you want to throw at it ..Tavern'' is refreshing and long overdue. 4stars, not open Mondays ????????
This place recently opened up, ready and freshly remodeled! Great atmosphere, fantastic food, tons of great company! This place puts Starbuck on the map! Make sure this one isn't missed!
