A delightful little craft beer pub on West Borough. Not a great deal of seating to be had, some in the window bay and a couple of tables near entrance and stools around the bar, plenty of standing space though. A great atmosphere in this bar and on this particular visit there was a live band playing so the bar was packed with people for a thoroughly entertaining afternoon. Great selection of lafwrs and real ales and novelty guest ciders which are worth a taste. Nice friendly bar staff and it is a dog friendly bar. Well worth a visit.
String smell of sick when entering this establishment. Obviously someone had chucked up earlier and it hadn't been mopped up sufficiently. Unfortunately we won't be returning in a hurry which is a shame as the Eight Arches ale was good

Been a few times now.always found staff friendly and happy.. why I came back... bit shocked today when I asked if music could be changed .or turned down....told abruptly NO... was really shocked by this as there was only 4 people drinking in the pub . You should keep

I'm a fairly regular visitor, usually with old friends. Alway a great atmosphere and good service.
Just come back from living in the USA and could not have found a better 'local'. Great keg beers and very friendly barstaff and regulars. Missed the buzz of people just talking to each other, instead of being glued to TV screens. I can see me spending far too much time (and money) in here!!
