Great spot, super clean, great menu, good coffee (thank you) and frozen yogurt sold by the cup size not weight (hurray!) Had the huevos rancheros and it was perfect size. Only thing that would have made it better would be a good pico de galleo salsa.
The word that comes to mind to describe this family eatery is clean. Clean ingredients most of all. But the dining area was uncommonly clean, and so were the restrooms. The young lady who took our order was both super friendly and efficient. I had the Italian Colosseum Sandwich, which was great. Someone at my table had the Very Berry Salad, which was gorgeous and tasted even better than it looked. Will definitely make a point to stop by whenever I drive through the area.
Went here for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised by all the sandwich and salad options and especially that they had not only coffee and espressos but also like 10 flavors of Fro-yo!!! I had cheesecake, Dutch chocolate and cotton candy flavored fro-yo. I also got a Greek Salad and Cuban Pork sandwich.
I visited here about a month ago. The food was very good, the staff were average. Didn’t feel like the cashier tried to ensure a positive experience. The lack of effort or willingness to problem solve by the cashier left me paying more than I should have, even after I had left decent tip for the staff. It left a bad taste in my mouth and made me regret giving them a tip at all.
While in Price we wanted something besides another food-chain, unsatisfying burger. Found the Tangerine Eatery in Google Maps and was not disappointed!
Choosing from the selection of good sounding salads, sandwiches, and wraps was difficult. We will need to come back next time to try something different. We each went for a wrap - the garden chicken and BLT-C, both were delicious and filling. I was very tempted by the frozen yogurt too; maybe some other time.
The location was fine. It is tucked in next to a motel; be sure to not turn too soon. Parking was easy. We were greeted and served promptly too. Definitely worth checking out for a fresh, good tasting meal rather than another fast food boring stop.
I recently visited The Tangerine Eatery for the first time and I must say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
I ordered the Italian sandwich and the turkey wrap, and both were absolutely delicious. The bread was fresh and the ingredients were of the highest quality. The flavors were perfectly balanced and each bite was more satisfying than the last.
The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were generous. I left feeling full and satisfied, but not uncomfortably so.
Overall, I would highly recommend The Tangerine Eatery to anyone looking for a great local restaurant experience. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Five stars all around!
Decided to grab a quick lunch.
Upon entering you do notice how clean everything is. You view a large menu posted near the cashier station and then place your order with the employee working the front counter.
Decent selection of breakfast items, wraps and sandwiches. The Mr. ordered an Italian style wrap, I ordered the Cubano sandwich. Sandwiches are served with chips.
After ordering you select a place to sit and food is brought to your table. Drinks are self serve.
We were both pleasantly surprised when we received our meals. Everything tasted fresh with great flavor. The Cubano has pulled pork which was flavorful and tender. We left full and happy. We'll definitely return to try other menu items.
The service was acceptable but lacking in genuine friendliness. The woman was efficient but indifferent to attempts at conversation. Definitely not rude, maybe just busy with side duties? But we definitely didn't get a warm feeling from the interactions. But nothing that would prevent our return.
We stopped here on the way home from the Green River area. The food was very good and I was pleasantly surprised that my sandwich was served hot. For dessert, we had our choice of a wide selection of FroYo flavors. The only negative is that the waitress although not too slow, did not seem very motivated.
