Had a lovely meal here. Service was a little on the slow side with regards to being asked about drinks etc. 30 mins from being seated until asked about our first drinks was a little frustrating. The staff were pleasant though and it did come across as they may have been understaffed as one girl was catering for several tables food and drink orders etc. Will visit here again though. Food was well worth the price for a family of four.

Lovely, lovely Sunday lunch at The Swallow, Swallow, Lincs..... Best beef I have had in years. Under new ownership (just 6 weeks) and already doing a lot of work to clean and decorate.... With the standard of food, friendly landlord, cracking team of staff. This place is definitely a place to come back to...
What more can I say, steak was perfect, steak sharing board with bottle of wine very reasonably priced. Empty plates speak volumes
Had Sunday lunch here yesterday. Staff friendly, decor beautiful, food excellent BUT had to wait an hour for main course to arrive with no mention beforehand of any delay. Had to ask in the end and then had to ask for table to be cleared and for dessert menu 10 minutes after finishing eating and no other customer in the dining area! Decided not to wait another hour for dessert to arrive and left. Sad to say we won't be returning.
Had a cracking roast here today. The beef was gorgeous and the roasties too. Everything on the plate had flavour and I was surprised to see baby corn on a roast dinner but it worked really well. The service was great and staff were attentive but not over the top. I'll be visiting the Swallow Inn again, thans all.
Great to see this pub back up and running. The food was absolutely delicious and good variety on the menu with specials too. It has been given a lovely make over and was very busy on a Thursday lunchtime. I will be going again.
Booked in to meet with some old school friends for tea. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed and we were able to chat freely. I had the fillet steak and my friends had the steak and Stilton pie and the salmon. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we also all had the profiteroles for dessert. My steak was cooked to perfection and was a really generous size. The waiters/waitresses were really friendly and welcoming, they were polite and un-intrusive. The whole evening felt relaxed and a real treat. I will definitely be coming back and will thoroughly recommend anybody considering a meal here.
