One of the friendliest pubs I've ever visited.
Great lines of good beer. Friendly locals as well as very welcoming staff. The free Yorkshire Tapas was a great surprise and better than a roast in many pubs. The vast array of toiletries was an unexpected pleasure too.
Thanks Emma and team for looking after us so well. If you are in the area it's well worth a visit.
Good pub, nice decor and smoking area and lovely landlady made us feel very welcome. Would definitely come back if in area.

The best pub we have ever been to. Visited on a Sunday greeted in the garden by a fantastic live singer, "Yorkshire tapas" was there for you just to "help thi sen" to, and the locals are very welcoming. Service was perfect, will definitely return.
We called in one afternoon whilst out cycling. The only customers were a group of men. Their language was disgusting. They didn't address us but we had to leave. The lady behind the bar didn't say anything to stop them. It is a nice pub in a nice village, it's a shame they allow feckless drunks in.
Great little village pub. Been a few times to play in pool league, always friendly and welcoming with a buzzing atmosphere when there's sport on the TV. The food is always top notch.
