First off I love hole in the walls right off the high way, but it makes it even more amazing when they have awesome food!! I got a cheeseburger and don't have a single complaint!! Mom got the catfish sandwich (which she is very picky about) but had enjoyed every bite of it!! If you're traveling through this area, this stop is a must!! Even if it's for an awesome milkshake!!!

the burgers were the perfect thickness, where you get the right amount of everything in your mouth.
The Cajun fries are crispy, NOT SOGGY. and don't get me started on the classic Vanilla Malts that I used to buy at the local drugstores when I was a kid.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Tacos were good, but nearly an hour til we got our order. The server did appolagize but said they had received about 25 orders before ours. (I assume to go orders)There were only 2 other familys in the resturante. Not sure if I will try them again?
We love the Shack it's close to our house and great owners and food is always great.. Good food takes a little to cook. Rushed food is not done and not very good. Food that is very hot if it's supposed to be is good. Recommend you try it
Good home cooking. Generous portions on everything, pie, soft served ice-cream ???? even have a purple cow. Cathy's County Kitchen is its current name. Sugar Shack closed.
It was so ridiculously hot inside! At least 80°! We were sweating. It took forever to get our food, and we didnt even order that much. The food was okay but it wasnt worth the wait or the uncomfortable heat.
The food was delicious, affordable and classic sandwich fare. The location is fairly inconspicuous, but you can tell you're in the right place by the full parking lot of eager customers.
I've never been here and been unhappy. Free meal drawings. Drive thru fast. Food is always hot, never tastes old.
