This little hole in the wall steakhouse will amaze you with their steaks for sure!!! Not to mention the bar ! A very comfortable feel with very personal staff!!! I don't plan on eating anywhere else whenever I am in the area!
Wow. I live in CA now and was in La Junta for business. I’ve eaten here both nights that I’ve been in town so far, and I’ll be back tomorrow night. The value here was only surpassed by the quality of my ribeye steak (and was cooked perfectly!) I recommend the grilled onions and mushrooms. I sat at the bar and the young woman that had served me made my experience that much finer! I’m picky. I’m SUPER picky about steaks out at dinner (I make excellent ones at home) and I highly highly recommend The Steakhouse over the other local spots here in La Junta.
This is a joke! It’s not worth the trouble of coming and wasting your time and money. The owner is nice but the food is not up to par and it takes FOREVER!!!
I visit La Junta sporadically on business and needed to check out something different. I saw some of the other reviews here and decided to check it out. I reviewed the menu in advance and pretty much already decided what I was going to have. I was greeted instantly, got a menu and a beer. There was only one server, but she was attentive, nice and polite. My food came pretty quickly and was prepared well.
It's unfortunate they do not have more business, but it's a small town and they have a lot of competition. I will most likely return.
Don’t let the “dive bar” building facade fool you.
I was very impressed with the quality of food and service from such a small town steakhouse. Not only was the food great but prices on it and drinks were so reasonable I literally had to make sure they gave me the right check. I like to drink when I go out, and it seems like nobody told them about other places charging roughly 400% markup.
If you come to La Junta and don’t eat here, I need you to reevaluate your decision making process ????
Quaint place in the middle of nowhere. Don’t let the outside fool you. Inside nice and clean. Food very good. Definitely will stop again. Was out of the porterhouse. Was going to opt for the NY strip. Cook guaranteed the T-bone would be great. He was right.
They have a nice place inside to eat. It's real cozy in there. It's very relaxing and comfortable. There food is also really good. They have amazing foods. Always fresh and tastes really good !! I highly recommend if you want to eat anywhere, go here !!
Delicious! We were staying next door at the hotel and walked over for a fantastic steak dinner. The ribeye melted in your mouth and the baked potatoe was cooked to perfection. All of their beef is sourced from local ranches and you can certainly taste the quality. Highly recommend!!
