You cannot fault the food, the Sunday roast that we all had was wonderful, the lamb was exceptional. They offer different size dishes for varying appetites which is a very good idea.
The service from the lone gentleman was impressive, I believe that they were short staffed that day.
The reason for only four stars is that the room was rather stark, cold and a few to many chairs crammed in there, but this appears to be a new venture and is still work in progress.
Give it a go, we will certainly be back.
Fantastic host, great hospitality and simply amazing food. Mega mixed grill definitely big enough to share and the meat is beautiful! Also allows dogs and the host makes such a fuss of them! Made up a doggy bag for them. Great meal.
Such a fantastic place. Manager/Server such a great guy, felt so welcome and looked after. And of course the steaks are just amazing, cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Quick service and just all around fantastic environment.
We arrived at 7pm on Saturday night. The room was uncomfortably cold. There are no draft beers but there were 2 types of bottled beer available. I said that we'd share a bottle of red wine to which the waiter replied that they had no full bottles of red wine.
So we left.
A lovely evening meal... locally sourced steak which was full flavoured and prepared pefectly.

Great food and good banter. One of the best tasting steaks I've had and the beer battered onion rings are so good.
Food was disappointing and not 5 star quality but a 5 star price, service was poor and no kids menu although offered free kids meals in school holidays, very disappointing
