I recently dined here and ordered drinks and shrimp, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The drinks were expertly crafted and refreshing, perfectly complementing the meal. The shrimp dish was cooked to perfection, with succulent and flavorful shrimp that melted in my mouth. The presentation of the dish was beautiful, and the portion size was just right. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dish was accompanied by tasty sides that enhanced the overall dining experience. Gave this a four star because when we got there today most of the food on the menu was sold out. Was my first time eating there and brought a friend that came from North Carolina with me. Our first time. The location is on the river with an outside table area. Would be great in warm weather. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly. The service all night was both friendly and quick. We had the pretzel appetizer, the standard burger and the jalapeno popper burger, both with fries. The pretzels were excellent. The drinks were also excellent. The burgers were dry. The burger toppings were excellent, only the burger patty itself was dry. Also the fries were served just warm and over cooked to our liking - see the photos. In the end I would try again but not for a burger and fries.
Just happened to stumble across this restaurant and pulled in. What great place! Casual dining, very clean new building, friendly staff, huge bar with lots of beers on draft, all in a beautiful setting along the river.
The outdoor seating on the deck overlooks the Beaver River. If your are interested in watching sports while dining, this would be a great place to watch a game.
Happy Hour prices are super affordable.
This is a good place to dine with family or friends. We arrived for diner and we’re seated right away. The drink orders arrived quickly. The food orders were delayed. But the waitresses was nice and kept us updated.
The atmosphere was nice. It feels like your inside if a airplane hanger that’s been remodeled to a cool looking modern design. We loved that it was next to the water. I’d love to go back and sit near the water on a cool evening with an adult beverage.
Be aware, it was hot inside when we visited. I’m not sure if room temperature is always an issue, but it did dampen the evening. We were sweaty and ready to leave before we finished eating. Granted, it was a hot day outside. Maybe factor that into your decision to go.
Food was cold. This was at 11:40am so the restaurant was not busy. Our waitress was gone the whole time and did not offer refills. The structure was nice overall but it is pointless to sit inside during dinner if they open the large doors.
The standard is a great place to eat! The food is amazing! Their flatbreads of the day are always the best! They have a fabulous bar menu with many beers on tap and cocktails! My only critique is that it can be loud at times! However their outdoor seating is great and can be an escape from that
Meghan, our server, was a ray of sunshine, having some good laughs with us. Attentive and checked on us regularly even in a crowded house. She offered 4 different entree favorites for each of us and they did not disappoint! Three of our 4 comments: "I love Cuban sandwiches and eat a lot of them. By far, this is the best." Someone else said, "This pot roast is perfect." And "The garlicky grilled chicken is perfect and delicious." Large portions, served fresh and hot. The place is easily maneuverable, with high tops, low table seating, comfy bar chairs, a deck, and the ability to open the windows. Loved the vibe and the food. Go.
