Always a pleasure to visit this pub and restaurant.
We had Sunday Lunch, which was great and very filling! And then settled for a friendly evening with our hosts and the regulars.

We booked rooms and a buffet for a family funeral and Tracey and the team could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Our days with them were a lovely family gathering for a sad reason. The locals welcomed us into the fold, this is a special place ????
We call in for a Sunday takeaway on your home from the caravan. Food fab and plenty of it ????
This place is absolutely fab! We had my niece's sweet sixteenth birthday party here and they went absolutely above and beyond! We were allowed to set up a bit early, the amount of food prepped was incredible and they were so helpful with everything! The sheer effort put in by the staff was beyond amazing! Thankyou Tracy and Phil. We all had a fantastic afternoon ☺️ would definitely recommend ????????
I was working in the area, and needed a reasonably priced guesthouse.
Couldn't have been better; friendly welcome, cosy room and pub next door!
Excellent food available in the evenings, and great value.
Breakfast was especially good, and perfectly presented with quality ingredients; set me up for my day's work.
Only problem I encountered was if my own making; I got home to Gloucester later that evening to discover I'd left my keys behind. Phoned Tracey, who immediately posted them back to me by recorded delivery. What can I say?
Good, friendly old fashioned service.
Will definitely be staying again when I'm sent back to the area.
