I've always liked Southern Station. Anytime hubby asks where I want to go for a breakfast date, I pick this place! Really good food, great ambiance (a lot of their decor is from Decor Steals which I love!) and pretty affordable. The new owner has done a really good job maintaining a similar atmosphere along with the great tasting food. Definitely going back again (and again). :)
What a great gem in Santa Margarita. Really love the latest menu they came up with. Such cool selections and eclectic options. I chose the Elvis which was amazing. Waffle, bacon, banana, and peanut butter, wow! Check this place out, it's worth your time. Chicken and waffles are always a safe and fun bet too.
March 29 2019 Friday morning breakfast with the wife included two freshly brewed coffees, Rita Ranch and 1+1+1+1 was very well southern style comfort food. Customer service was warm and food came quickly in this nice quiet establishment.
New owners completely turned this place around. Unique and well thought out menu. Thank goodness it's been cleaned up in the kitchen! Too much to say about how good of a job the new owners are doing... Just make sure and go there and see 4 yourself. Mmm the Elvis breakfast included berry jam to smother all over it...
They changed owners so food is different, but we were thrilled after we ate. Our tastebuds were delighted and they still have waffles!

I just made my first visit here and I was very impressed by the hometown welcome. The menu was well priced with what turned out to be delicious and very well cooked traditional southern style breakfast! I look forward to coming and trying out the lunch menu! Great service too! Thank you for a wonderful visit!
The space is beautiful and the service was fine as was the French toast. But that's it, nothing more than adequate. I'll have to come back to test the lunch menu which looks awesome. When I go to a modern and gorgeous place like this I expect the food to match. Crazy right? Judging a book by its cover like that.
