Found this place off of the social media I’ve thought to stop by and try them out. It was Not how it looked on social media but 1st I’d start off by saying the owner was awesome nice and friendly & his son is the one taking orders I don’t like the service he gives. Walked in no greet no smile nothing. The food was disappointing I paid $60 for raw ribs , the baked beans were like prison or school beans way to over cooked and dry must’ve been beans from couple days ago & the greens need a little more flavor the corn bread could’ve been better with some honey their smoked potatoes salad was great & last but not least the pulled pork fries was ok I’ve had better though. Anyways I’m just not satisfied because I’ve wasted $60 for the food to be horrible.
Absolutely banging barbecue! I randomly came by here for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I always try to eat at local small businesses whenever I have a chance, and I found this place nearby on Google Maps.
I ordered the brisket sandwich with sides of macaroni n cheese and beans. The brisket was so darn good. I haven't had this good of a brisket since I visited Texas a few years ago. The meat was so tender and cooked perfectly. The flavor was incredibly good. They could have used a slightly better bread for the bun, but it works just the way it is. The mild barbecue sauce was a good compliment
The Macaroni n cheese was really good as well. The beans weren't my favorite. I've had better, but it was okay. Just a bit overcooked.
If you are looking for good barbecue come here.
We found this joint through social media and it did not disappoint. It is the best BBQ we have tried, period! The owner is very friendly and their customer service is superb. Portions are very generous and most importantly the flavor and tenderness of the meat is to die for. Parking can be tricky as they share a parking lot with many other businesses. Plenty of handicap parking though
Best BBQ I've had west of Texas. The owner does Arkansas proud. The pulled pork and the brisket were phenomenal. Mild sauce is delicious with a hint of sweet. Medium sauce was great with the tiniest kick. The hot sauce had the right amount of heat. Meat had a delicious smoke flavor. The mac and cheese and smoked potato salad are so good. And the corn bread? I wish I had ordered 2 more of those. Fantastic all around. If you're in the Bay area, check this spot out. Parking can be a nightmare, but trust me, it is worth it. Great atmosphere too.
Good food. Not the worst but not the best. I tried this place because I was in the area. The food decent but definitely way overpriced. My usual place in San Jose is way better food for 10-15 dollars less. Next time I will drive to San Jose
But again the food is good
The owner is super nice
Delicious authentic American BBQ items. Friendly attentive service. Generous portions. Cozy atmosphere.
I saw an ad/post of this place on instagram. Thankfully, I was heading up toward this area for other tasks and found myself at the restaurant.
First thing you need to check when getting here is to check the little sign by the register that indicates currently out of stock items. Unfortunately in my visit, they ran out of pulled pork.
My normal choice of meats in any barbecue spot is brisket & pulled pork, but I had to improvise and get baby back ribs instead. My goodness, the brisket here is just magical. It just melts off in your mouth and as meat pulls away it still retains a bit of toothsome-ness. I had sides of Mac n’ cheese and smoked potato salad. Mac n’ cheese is pretty standard, but still good. Cheese is sticky to keep noodles in a good portion bits. The smoked potato salad was warm, not what I was expecting. But by serving it warm, the food had good balance overall.
I definitely will return in future for more delectable selections.
Horrible BBQ ???? absolutely no flavor or taste and the ribs were so dry. I ordered a two item combo with two sides. Ribs, brisket, mac and cheese, greens. The only thing that had a little bit of flavor was the greens. I threw the brisket away because it looked like dog meat it was shredded and had absolutely no taste and was dry. I will not recommend this place to anyone else. I also paid $38 for all of this and wish that I would have grabbed some pizza at mountain Mike's instead. Not worth it at all and please don't waste your money.
