We went on a Sunday afternoon after riding most of the morning from Gate City, VA. We stopped at Asheville H-D and this was THE place they suggested for lunch. Very happy with the service and food! The Jalapeno Beer Cheese Burger is to die for! Highly recommend it!!
Third time to this place and I absolutely love it. Just no frills, laid-back and amazing people
Food and service were both very good. Atmosphere is always fun. Met a friend at a time when it wasn't crazy-busy, just busy (dinner hours 4-7 ish). The server was top-notch, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was good. My friend was surprised and said it was better than expected. I've been to the Social for several years for music and food, and have seen Asheville's own Lyric and Idol winner Caleb Johnson there (before he became famous). As a venue, it's a good place to enjoy music, food, and time with friends without being downtown, and a good way to avoid being in a venue crowded with hundreds of people as it's lower key, has a nice outdoor area, and has pool tables.
Won't be going back. They don't care. The owner brings people in from other areas to run illegal activities including hookers. They make fun of the locals. Over charge. Waited over an hour for just some wings. When I reminded them about the order. They was hard and cold none. Go to east village. At least employees are nice to you there. Food is so much better. Drinks are not over charged either!.. watch the tickets. They been including 8%gratuity. Even on single drink tickets... they should be fired for this as tips are based on their acts of service. Not automatically given for doing a horrible job
Staff was very friendly, but had to go to the bar to order food and drinks, get refills and check.
Atmosphere was pretty laid back, definitely a local favorite.
We had ordered an appetizer which came out the same time as the food.
The burgers we ordered were pretty good, hand made patties on a butter toasted bun. The appetizer and the fries were so salty you could almost not eat them, had to dip them in the ranch dressing or Ketchup to cover up the salt. All in all, not a bad place, again super friendly staff and patrons and the burgers were really good. Food was over priced for what you get. 2 burgers, appetizer, and 2 sodas was $40.00
We had an amazing anniversary dinner last month, and I think a main reason for that was our waitress Celestial - she did everything to make sure we had a terrific time. Our food was great and the service (thanks to her) was tremendous!
The fondue was out of this world as well!

Just a quick stop for a bite to eat. It said burgers and chicken I think on the Google map for it. So we stopped. It was a neat little place! Had several several movie references throughout the Restaurant and the menu! I got the Towanda!! Fried green tomatoes, bacon and pimento cheese on Texas toast. It was so yummy!! All three in our group just loved our foods! The sweet tea was super good too! Everything seemed fresh! It was 6 or so on a Saturday evening. We sat inside but the outside dining area was nice looking as well. Has a couple pool tables. And the walls were made so you could write your names on them! Such a neat place! And the staff was friendly as well! Would recommend for a quick bite to eat!!
Exceptionally good food for a bar. Great music. Fun place to hang and shoot pool [r throw darts. Have fun event nights. Awesome staff. Great live music.
